What Would Danbury Do? A Bridgerton Podcast is the passion project of hosts Kate Cuthbert, Adele Walsh, and alumna Rudi Bremer.
Avid romance readers, Adele, Rudi, and Kate started WWDD in 2020 and have since released episodes covering each of the Julia Quinn books and epilogues and every episode of the Shonda Rhimes television show.
WWDD also includes several bonus episodes where experts share their thoughts on key aspects of the Bridgerton-verse, including croquet, Bollywood, and virginity, a very special episode about Queen Charlotte, and a bonus season with the Bridgerton-adjacent Smith-Smythe quartet of novels.
Since 2022, Kate and Adele have hosted with a special guest for each episode, spilling the tea about Regency London and every member of the Bridgerton family – from A to V.
THE HOSTS
Dr Kate Cuthbert is a book industry professional with 20 years experience in the Australian publishing industry. Her book on the creation, impact, and language of book covers and titles, How to Judge a Book by its Cover, was released in 2025. She has seen every episode of Grey’s Anatomy (most of them several times).
Adele is a library leader with a long history in Australian book culture. A leading voice in the YA community, she has spent years writing, talking, and thinking about books and the communities that gather around them. Her CV includes interviews with many leading YA and genre authors for publication and festivals, and her work has appeared in Books+Publishing and Meanjin. Her favourite Julia Quinn novel is The Sum of All Kisses. She is always trying to catch up on Grey’s Anatomy and still thinks about Crossroads more than she probably should.
